Damage to Soffit and Fascia
Squirrels may chew holes in the fascia to gain entry, or easily enlarge existing holes. Note chewing around edges of hole.

Starlings, sparrows, or woodpeckers may use holes in the fascia for nesting sites.

Many times squirrel holes are not obvious. In this picture the squirrels lift the shingles to enter the eave.

Raccoons may also enter thru the soffit or fascia thru missing or torn out panels or boards.

Squirrels can chew into fascia behind gutters where there is sometimes water damage.
